LoveGraft, operated by Pieterdevilliers ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our relationship analysis service (the "Service"). We designed LoveGraft with privacy as a core principle.

2. Information We Process

When you use our Service, you may upload WhatsApp chat exports for analysis. This data is processed temporarily to provide you with relationship insights and is handled as follows:

Chat data is processed in real-time during your analysis session
Chat content is sent to third-party AI providers for analysis (see Section 5)
We collect basic analytics data (page views, feature usage) for service improvement
Payment information is processed securely through Stripe

2.1 WhatsApp Business Communications

When you interact with us via WhatsApp Business, we process your messages to provide our service and respond to your inquiries. This communication data is handled as follows:

Messages are processed securely to understand and respond to your requests
Chat data from WhatsApp Business interactions is deleted within 24 hours
We do not use WhatsApp Business conversations for marketing without your explicit consent
Your phone number may be stored only if you opt-in to receive service updates

3. WhatsApp Bot Service

In addition to our web-based upload, you may submit chat exports via our WhatsApp bot. This service operates slightly differently from the browser-based experience:

Data We Collect

The WhatsApp chat export file you send to our bot
A hashed (anonymized) identifier derived from your phone number, used solely for rate limiting
We do not store your actual phone number

How It Works

When you send a chat file to our WhatsApp bot, we parse and analyze it
Results are temporarily stored with a unique, private link so you can view them
The link is sent back to you via WhatsApp

Data Retention

Analysis results accessed via WhatsApp: Automatically deleted after 24 hours
Rate limiting records: Deleted after 24 hours
Your actual phone number: Never stored

Why This Differs From Web Upload: Unlike our browser-based service where everything stays in your session, the WhatsApp bot must temporarily store your results so we can send you a viewable link. This data is automatically purged after 24 hours.

4. Data Storage Policy

We never permanently store your original chat messages. Your uploaded chat files are processed temporarily and deleted within 1 hour. The storage of analysis results varies depending on how you use our service:

4.1 Original Chat Data

Your original WhatsApp chat export files are never stored permanently by LoveGraft:

Chat files are processed in real-time and temporarily cached for analysis
Temporary chat files are automatically deleted within 1 hour
We do not retain, archive, or back up your original chat messages
Only anonymized analysis results are generated from your chats

4.2 Single-Use Purchases (No Account)

If you make a single analysis purchase without creating an account:

Analysis results exist only in your browser session
Results are lost when you close your browser or navigate away
We do not store your analysis results on our servers
Please download or screenshot any results you wish to keep

4.3 Credit Pack Users (With Account)

If you purchase a credit pack and create an account:

Your analysis results (scores, insights, recommendations) are stored indefinitely
Your original chat messages are NOT stored - only the analysis output
Results are linked to your authenticated account for retrieval
You can access your analysis history anytime while your account is active
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time

Important for Single-Use Users: If you do not have an account and do not save your analysis results before leaving the page, they cannot be retrieved.

Privacy Note for Account Holders: We store only the analysis results (relationship scores, insights, and recommendations), never your original chat messages. Your private conversations remain private.

5. Third-Party AI Providers

To provide our analysis service, we send your chat data to the following AI providers. We have configured our accounts with these providers to maximize your privacy:

OpenAI (GPT Models)

Your data sent to OpenAI is opted out of training by default when using our API. OpenAI retains API data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, after which it is deleted. OpenAI does not use API data to train or improve their models.

Anthropic (Claude Models)

Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs to train models. Data may be retained for up to 30 days for trust and safety purposes, after which it is deleted. Your conversations are not used to improve Anthropic's models.

Google (Gemini Models)

When using Gemini API, your data is not used to train Google's models by default. Google may retain API data for a limited period for abuse prevention. We use the API configuration that provides maximum privacy protection.

Summary: All AI providers we use have been configured to NOT use your data for model training. Your chat data is processed, analyzed, and then deleted according to each provider's data retention policies (typically within 30 days).

6. Data Deletion

6.1 Single-Use Users (No Account)

Since we do not store chat data or analysis results for single-use purchases:

There is no data for us to delete from LoveGraft systems
Your session data is cleared when you leave the page

6.2 Credit Pack Users (With Account)

If you have an account with stored analysis results:

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
This includes all stored analysis results, account information, and purchase history
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered

To request account deletion, email us at support@lovegraft.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

6.3 AI Provider Data

Data sent to AI providers is automatically deleted per their retention policies (typically 30 days)
You can request deletion from AI providers directly using their respective processes

7. Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We use minimal, essential cookies for service functionality. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our service is used, but this does not include your chat content or analysis results.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date.
